從幾年前北京著手申辦2008年北京奧運(yùn)會(huì)開始，2008年北京奧運(yùn)會(huì)這個(gè)話題就一直備受關(guān)注。目前關(guān)注的焦點(diǎn)已從申辦之初許下的諾言轉(zhuǎn)移到如何真正履行諾言。在我看來(lái)，要跨越諾言與現(xiàn)實(shí)之間的鴻溝，北京還有很長(zhǎng)一段路要走。

首先，在所有亟待解決的問(wèn)題中，跨越英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)這一難關(guān)至關(guān)重要。學(xué)會(huì)一門語(yǔ)言的關(guān)鍵在于堅(jiān)持不懈。我們到能不能做到讓大多數(shù)國(guó)人在2008年到來(lái)之前都學(xué)會(huì)說(shuō)英語(yǔ)？這一問(wèn)題需要我們不斷努力和嘗試。

其次，交通擁擠一直是困擾北京的老大難問(wèn)題。一輛接一輛車連在一起構(gòu)成的汽車長(zhǎng)龍加之它們不斷排放到空氣中的黑煙這種情景早就給我們留下了深刻的印象。我相信沒(méi)有一個(gè)國(guó)人愿意把北京的這一面暴露給來(lái)自世界各地的參賽隊(duì)員和新聞?dòng)浾?，因?yàn)樗鼤?huì)嚴(yán)重?fù)p壞北京的形象和聲譽(yù)。所以，我們必須致力于建設(shè)綠色奧運(yùn)這一目標(biāo)。

second,trafficjamshavebeenanage-oldheadacheinbeijing,thescenesoflongqueuesofvehicleswormingtheirwayinchbyinchwhiledischargingdarkfumesintotheairhadgivenallofusareallybadimpression,andiknowthatnoneofuswishtoshowoffthatsideofbeijingtoathletesandjournalistsovertheworld,itwouldblemishthecity’simageandleaveabadreputation.sowehavetoworkrealhardongreenolympics.

還有，為了各項(xiàng)工作的順利實(shí)施，一個(gè)高瞻遠(yuǎn)矚的整體城市規(guī)劃必不可少。如果時(shí)間允許，重新設(shè)計(jì)和調(diào)整北京的建筑風(fēng)格會(huì)為構(gòu)建北京的城市特色創(chuàng)造環(huán)境。把東方的精致和西方的宏偉結(jié)合在一起一定會(huì)在眾多建筑風(fēng)格中獨(dú)樹一幟。要做到以上幾點(diǎn)，北京應(yīng)該聽取得來(lái)自一流建筑師的建議并作出整體規(guī)劃。

盡管如此，要實(shí)現(xiàn)全世界對(duì)北京的期盼，北京還有許許多多工作要做。但我們有信心在2008年到來(lái)之前把北京建設(shè)成為一個(gè)全新的城市。巨大的變化每天都在這個(gè)城市發(fā)生，相信在不遠(yuǎn)的將來(lái)，北京將會(huì)成為全世界關(guān)注的焦點(diǎn)。世界相信北京，這也是北京申奧成功的原因。我們一定會(huì)抓住這次機(jī)遇并為之全力以赴。今天，我們還沒(méi)有做好準(zhǔn)備，但在2008年到來(lái)之前我們一定會(huì)準(zhǔn)備好！
