The Korean Journal of Religion (JKR) is the only English academic journal dedicated to studying Korean religion, founded in the fall of 2010. It aims to stimulate people's interest in and discussion of Korean religious studies in various disciplines of humanities and social sciences. JKR is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year in April and October. It aims to stimulate interest and discussion in the study of Korean religion across various disciplines of humanities and social sciences. Publish original research articles, review articles, book reviews, and current affairs issues aimed at discussing, elaborating, and expanding research on Korean religion. Its main focus is on promoting theoretical and philosophical understanding, as well as facilitating more specific and empirical analysis of Korean religion.
